World Physiotherapy Day is held every year to recognize physiotherapy and physical activity. Exercise is critical for health, and it is really important in general. Inactivity is bad for heart health if you’re overweight and in danger of heart disease due to inactivity and obesity, too.

You don’t need a gym or complicated equipment to be active. You can include a few exercises in your day-to-day routine. Begin at a moderate level and gradually increase the time and intensity.
We can give seven easy exercises to support a healthier heart that are easy to do.
7 simple exercises for heart health.
1. Brisk walking.
Walking is the best way to keep active. A brisk walk can raise your heart rate and it’s still relatively easy on your joints. If you start with a short walk, then gradually increase the length of it.
Walking regularly can also help improve stamina and make physical activity a part of your daily routine.
2. Cycling.
Cycling is another good cardiovascular exercise. You can have a regular bicycle out in the open or a stationary one indoors.
If you are a new cyclist, start slow. You can also gradually increase speed or resistance as you get better at cycling.
3. Swimming.
Swimming is known to work multiple muscle groups simultaneously. As a cardiovascular workout, it can be done without overloading the joints.
Carry out swimming at least once a week when swimming is a good thing to do. Begin with shorter sessions and take breaks whenever you can.
4. Squats.
Squats mainly work the muscles of the legs and lower body. They will also add strength training to your routine.
To do a squat, stand with your feet shoulder-width apart. Bend your knees and lower your body slowly while keeping your back comfortable and relatively straight. Then straighten back up to the standing position.
If you are a novice at this, start with a small number of repetitions.
5. Step-Ups.
Step-ups are done with a stable step or a low platform. Step on the platform with one foot, bring the other foot up, and then step back down carefully.
This exercise is good for the lower body, and it will raise your heart rate. Watch for stability of the platform before starting.
6. Light jogging.
If you are already comfortable walking, you can gradually add short periods of jogging. Jogging can increase your heart rate and improve cardiovascular fitness.
Beginners can alternate between walking and jogging. That could make it more manageable.
7. Stretching and Mobility exercises.
Stretching is a good part of a healthy lifestyle even when it doesn’t increase your heart rate as much as jogging or walking. With simple mobility exercises, you can keep the body flexible and ready for different types of activity.
We can stretch before or after exercise gently. Stretching or forcing anyone to move into pain should be avoided.
Frequent exercise is crucial to health and heart health. The amount and type of activity to do is different for everyone. If you have long-term health issues and/or haven’t exercised in a long time, talk to a doctor or a qualified physical therapist before starting a fitness program.
Consistency is what counts. Walking, cycling, and some simple strength training are all ways to maintain an active lifestyle consistently and carefully.
