As a tourist in Ayodhya, one should be aware that the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir will have a new schedule from November 1, 2026 and the opening and closing hours of several aartis and ritual breaks will be changed.

This will help pilgrims from other cities and states plan their visit better and avoid coming to the temple when darshan is suspended.
The temple doors will open at 4:00 am for the Mangala Aarti from 4:30 am to 4:40 am. The temple will be closed for certain religious activities such as abhishek, shringar and other offerings after this early morning ritual.
The Shringar Aarti will take place at 6:30 am and the general darshan will start at 7:00 am. Devotees who want that early darshan will have to arrive early to be given time to clear the entry and any security checks.
And those who reach the temple early will have to plan the rest of their day around the rituals and breaks.
The morning darshan period will have a short break for Bal Bhog between 8:00 am and 8:10 am. Darshan is not cancelled following the ceremony and will end for the morning at 11:30 am. Raj Bhog period will run from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm and Raj Bhog Aarti at noon.
These rituals are part of the temple’s daily worship schedule and are the rituals that are made to Ram Lalla. Visitors should be aware that darshan will not be available at times of ritual periods and should look up the schedule before entering the temple.
The rest period from Ram Lalla is 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm and afternoon darshan will resume at 1:35 pm. Pilgrims coming around midday should also consider darshan time in their trip planning.
Rather than waiting to know when darshan will resume, visitors can pack up their belongings, have refreshments where they are allowed and plan other activities in Ayodhya. Those who are traveling with elderly family members or children will find it particularly helpful to plan for rest periods and transport around the given timings.
The afternoon and evening schedule also has a brief closure for Bal Bhog from 4:00 pm to 4:10 pm. Evening darshan will end at 6:45 pm followed by Sandhya Aarti at 7:00 pm.
Devotees wishing to attend the evening worship should allow enough time to enter the temple area and follow the instructions given by temple authorities. Like all other big religious sites, crowd movement and security arrangements may affect the time needed to reach the chosen places, particularly during busy times and on important religious occasions.
The final rituals of the day will take place in the evening and at night. The temple doors will stay closed from 8:00 pm to 8:30 pm and again from 9:15 pm to 9:30 pm for dhoop-deep and naivedya offerings.
The Shayan Aarti will take place at 9:30 pm and the temple doors will close at 10:00 pm. The doors opened at 3:45 am and closed at 10:30 pm in the previous schedule and in this new schedule the opening is 15 minutes later and the closing 30 minutes earlier. The changes have been implemented by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra due to the seasonal change and daily worship practice in the morning.
To devotees who are going to visit from November 1, the key is to plan around the official darshan window so that the temple is accessible throughout the day.
Those who want to visit a particular aarti should check the latest instructions from the temple trust, as entry arrangements and access for specific rituals might differ from general darshan. Pilgrims should also put up with queues, security checks and moving around the temple complex on the weekend, festivals, and in other busy times.
The new schedule will ensure that the daily life of the temple is adapted to the changing season and still worship in the way it has been for decades. Ayodhya residents can now plan for morning, afternoon and evening darshan according to the new time schedule.
The visitor is told to check any further announcements made in the official Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra channels so that their plan is accurate.
